Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 11, 2026. This explains what information Play Grid Games uses when you visit or play.

1. Overview

Play Grid Games (“we”, “our”, “the service”) provides free browser multiplayer games. We aim to collect as little personal data as practical. We do not require an account to play.

2. Information on your device

Some settings stay only in your browser (local storage), for example:

  • Display name preferences for a game session
  • Control settings (e.g. turn sensitivity)
  • Solo / offline high scores for practice modes
  • Session helpers so Ludo can reconnect after a refresh

This data is not sent to us as a permanent profile. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.

3. Multiplayer sessions

When you create or join a room, the game server holds temporary session data needed to run the match — for example a room code, player display names, connection status, and live game state. That data exists so everyone in the room can play together.

Rooms are short-lived. When players leave or the room is destroyed, that match data is removed from the server’s memory. We do not operate a public global leaderboard of personal profiles today.

4. Technical & hosting data

Like most websites, our hosts (for example the web host and the multiplayer server host) may automatically process technical logs: IP address, browser type, timestamps, and similar connection metadata. That is used for security, reliability, and abuse prevention—not for selling ads about you.

If we use analytics or error reporting in the future, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.

5. Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. The site may use essential storage (including local storage or similar) for settings and reconnect features described above. Hosting platforms may set their own strictly necessary cookies.

6. Children

The service is a general-audience game hub. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information inappropriately, contact us (see below) and we will help as best we can within the limits of ephemeral room data.

7. Your choices

  • Use a display name that is not your real name
  • Clear site data / local storage anytime in browser settings
  • Leave rooms and close the tab when you are done

8. Changes

We may update this policy as the product changes. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after updates means you accept the revised policy.

9. Contact

Privacy questions: see Contact. Also read our Terms of Use.
